Murree Nathiagali Overview
Murree is a hill station on the border of Punjab and Azad Kashmir in Pakistan. American journalist Kamil wrote: Romance is in the air. Conspiracy is in the air. The road to this happy holiday resort includes heaven and earth. Falling in love with Marie is easy. ”
Murree was once a charming colonial town nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas. However, the last 15 years have seen rapid development and today Murree looks like a crowded tourist resort littered with rubbish. However, it is still very popular among Pakistani families and highly recommended by this demographic. For international visitors heading north to the Galis (eg Natya Gali), it’s worth more. Summers are cool and even cold at night and there are frequent light rains. During the winter, Mari is hidden under a thick blanket of snow, but few tourists visit it at this time and most hotels and attractions are closed.
Mari is the administrative headquarters of Mari district. There is also a good road connection to other cities in this region. These small towns are Kanspur, Ghora Gali, Sunny Bank, Zika Galli, Bulban, Natyagali, Ayubia, Karaba and Patriata. Murree is also connected by road to major cities like Islamabad, Muzaffarabad and Abbottabad.
